I want to create a plug-in which will sign a pdf by calling a web service to get the signature files. Is this possible? What is the best approach (i have read something about doing this with javascript). Any documents, suggestions or materials on this matter? Thank you.

By “signature files”, do you mean the certificates? And then you will do the signing yourself or you would expect Acrobat to do it with your newly downloaded certs?

Yes the certificates. My plug-in should also do the signing. Thank you.
