Disappearing form field entries after saving and scrolling or reopening

I have created a form in InDesign, made it fillable in Acrobat Pro v10.0, then saved it as a Reader Extended PDF (Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional Features). All users, myself included, are using Windows 7 Pro.

End users are reporting that after they complete and save the form in Reader and scroll down (so their previous entries are not visible on the screen), when they scroll back up, their previous entries are gone. Clicking back in these fields reveal their entries are lost. The same "disappearing act" happens if the completed form is saved, closed, then reopened.

I'm new to the fillable forms world, so I'm assuming I'm missing some basic setting or feature, Any help is appreciated, Thank you.

The JavaScript used by Acrobat is not the same as used by Acrobat. Many have found it is best to add the fields and scripts using Acrobat and not using InDesign or other sofrware to to do these tasks.

That's not normal, so there's not a setting you can change. It would be very helpful if you could find out exactly what version of Reader they're using. It would also be helpful if you could post a sample form somewhere so we can test it out.
