Do I have to now have a paid version of AR to separate pages?

New Here ,

I used to be able to separate pages in a pdf.  New compuer/windows 10 the version of acrobat reader that was available - DC -REALLY wants me to upgrade to a paid version that includes cloud etc. I don't need any of that, just want to be able to do what I did with previous version.

I have looked through these forums and find references to menu items - organize  - document - that don't exist on this version.

Getting frustrated that something that used to be easy seems impossible.

If this version requires I pay to do simple separations - how do I get an older version on this PC?  tried uninstalling dc and installing an older version. DC won't go away.

Please help.

Now and always. You must have had, without realising, a paid version before.

The confusion might come from the name of the new version. What was previously called just Reader is now called Acrobat Reader (unfortunately). Reader can not, and could not, perform any editing task on a PDF such as moving or extracting pages. That requires the paid version, Acrobat.
