Does Adobe Acrobat DC have to be linked to the cloud from a stand alone CD-ROM install on a Windows 10 laptop?

I'm testing the free download, but do not want to purchase CD-ROM if it has to be tied to cloud resources

Hi ,

There is no need and procedure to link it to the cloud.

It is an embedded feature.

You could simply save your files to the Cloud and turn on the Mobile Link to access it from other devices.

I do not wish to be linked to or save files to the cloud. I want it to be

local to my laptop. If linking to the cloud is an embedded feature, can it

be overridden during the install from a CD-ROM? The reviews I have read

seem to indicate that it cannot be done.

Hi ,

You could simply choose the file location as desktop or any other path on your machine. This would not save files to the Cloud and you would be good to go.

It' an additional feature. It' up to you want to save files to the Cloud or not.
