Does the educational version of Acrobat convert pdf's to tif or jpeg files?  I need to insert tif or jpeg documents into cadd 2013 drawings

There is no difference in functionality between the educational license and a normal license. Yes, you can convert a PDF file to TIF or JPEG files.
