Download for Windows Vista?

Guest
Apr 24, 2016 Apr 24, 2016

My laptop runs Windows Vista Home Premium, but this is not listed as an option under "Step 1 - Select an Operating System."  How can I proceed?

(I know this isn't an "Enterprise Deployment" question, but this interface is making me choose a community, and that's the only one it lists for "deployment."  Sorry.)

Hi M M,

Please let us know the dot version of Adobe application you are trying to download.

We would like to inform you that the current version of Adobe Acrobat DC/ Reader are not compatible with Windows Vista.

Refer these KB doc for more information:

Let us know if you need any help.

I don't know what you mean by "dot version."  I am trying to download anything that's listed as available from the download page.  When I couldn't find Windows Vista listed, I tried Windows 7, but was unsuccessful in downloading/installing.

Are there older/alternate versions available that ARE compatible with Vista, or am I just SOL??

I'll ask again: are there older/alternate versions of Adobe Reader that *are* compatible with Windows Vista?  I assume there must have been at some point?

My recollection is that Reader X was compatible, at least its earlier releases. But that is out of support, so Adobe don't offer an easy download any more. I think it may be available from Adobe's FTP site, if someone has the link.
