Edit a PDF

Gentlemen, I have the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, but when I click edit PDF, it will not let me add, or change the text, how do it?

THE TEXT IN MY PDF FILE CAME FROM A WORD FILE. FOR THAT REASON, COULD BE POSSIBLE EDIT THE TEXT IN THE PDF FILE, HOWEVER I CAN'T DO THIS. I AM OPENING MY PDF FILE IN ADOBE ACROBAT.

Don't edit text in a PDF. Edit the text in the original document, then convert to PDF.
