Edit Save As file path with text, NOT dropdown
Copy link to clipboard

I am using Adobe Acrobat 9.0.0 Pro. When I try to "Save As" a document, I am unable to edit the Save In folder by typing or pasting in the path -- I can only get around by using the dropdown function. I am always changing save folders to remote places in my company's network, and it takes about 20+ clicks to get to the correct folder. Surely there is a way to edit the file path manually?
Also, just to clarify -- I am not looking to change the default save folder, which is the only type of similar question I found with a Google search. I always save in different folders far away from each other.
I am attaching an image of Windows Explorer's file path bar, which can be edited, then an image of Adobe Acrobat's file path bar, which is only editable by dropdown (as far as I know).

Hi AdobeUser24601 ,
You may try to add the location you want to save to under File name.
For ex: If you want to save a particular pdf to this location C:\Users\Guest\Favorites , type this location under File name.
