Running Acrobat 11 Pro. within Win 7 Pro

I am adding comments to a .pdf using the text box. While I can edit the box through properties I cannot find the tool to edit the text within the box.

Hi urksonm,

Right click on the Text box and select Properties.

Make sure the 'Locked' option below is unchecked.

Let me know if this works for you.

Regards,

Meenakshi

As I said originally the 'Text Box Properties' box only allows me to edit the box itself not the text that is inserted.

Use the Add Text Comment tool to click on the text itself and the toolbar to change it will appear.

This works. Found this in the archives.

"In Acrobat X - Double-click on exiting Text Box, once cursor start blinking inside the Text Box - hit Ctrl+E, and you will see what you are looking for - 'Text Box Text Properties'"

Okay, sorry for the delay. Ctrl+E worked for the font. The Ctrl K works also as far as the changes made to font, fill etc. What I cannot get is using Ctrl K for the box size. The text box that is dropped onto the sheet is this long 12 to 16 character box. When I re-size it usually to a maximum of 4 characters the  Ctrl K does not default to that size. Is there a fix for that.
