Hi, I have been supplied an 8 page PDF which requires a little editing.
This has an embedded font, which although embedded is not previewing correctly.
In the acrobat properties under the fonts tab it reads 'AvantGarGothBold (Embedded Subset) Type 1, Ansi' (also in book and ital) which is what I would expect for an embedded font - this shows in both the original and the re-exported amended file. However, in none of these documents does Avant Garde preview. It's preview is replaced with Myriad which is not listed.
What I am asking is why is an embedded font not previewing as it should?
Any help gratefully received...
