I uninstalled Adobe Reader to see if this error is eliminated.  Nope, then the check choice is uninstall Adobe Acrobat XI.  Ok., but I don't have a disc, and orig. download of the program was from Adobe.  Hows that work finding the license and whats required to reinstall?

For any serial number help :- Find your Adobe product serial number quickly

If you are getting that error message in future , then refer to this link :- Fix Windows errors that occur during Acrobat Reader update

I  only thing that I have not tried is uninstalling and reinstalling the program.  I'm not comfortable doing that without a disc...I found the s/n, so maybe I am worried for nothing....???
