Errors updating Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

Guest

I keep getting "insufficient privilege" errors while trying to update Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  I have changed permissions on all of the Adobe folders giving Users, Administrators, Trusted Installer all full access to all folders.  Still get the error message.  HELP!

Hi tobyj41509948 ,

Please try the follow steps and let us know:

1. Launch Acrobat, Click on Help menu > Repair installation (Make sure everything else is closed).

   - Restart the machine and then try updating it again.

   - If the automatic updating didn't help again.

2. Download the update patch manually and try installing : Adobe - Acrobat : For Windows

3 If above steps didn't help either

Download new installer. : Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

Uninstall Acrobat XI using cleaner tool : Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

   Reinstall and try updating again.

If the issue still persist, then would request you to please check with the different user with Admin Rights to replicate the issue .

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Yatharth
