Ever since an Adobe update a couple of days ago I've been unable to print any PDFs including some documents I've been printing for several years. But this is also the case with brand new docs.  When I hit the 'Print' button I get a prompt stating 'The document could not be printed.' After I click the 'OK' button on that prompt I receive a second prompt stating 'There were no pages selected to print.' But that isn't the case. All the pages were selected to print. I even got these same prompts using the 'Advanced' option for 'Print As Image.' I'm convinced the new Adobe update was corrupt in some fashion. Can any one help?

Details please. You mention an "Adobe update". What operating system do you have? What Adobe product do you have? And crucially, what exact version do you now have (for example 2015.123.43422)?

If you don't know how to answer any one of these three questions, please let us know. Please answer all three.
