I want to extract tables from pdf files. I have tried Acrobat DC and I see that I can export the complete file into excel format.
But is there a possibility to scan through the pdf and then extract only the tables that are found?
Also since the tables are of varying style and not all of them seem to be extracted properly, are there ways to set parameters, or teach the program what to look for and how to handle the different styles?
Thank you

The answer to both questions is no. You can either export everything, or you can manually select a part of a page for export.
And you can't influence how they are interpreted or exported.
