Exporting just value fields from forms w/o using Adobe's distribute functions

Very basic question - I'm using Acrobat DC Pro on Windows 10.

I'm working with the form available here: http://www.masssave.com/~/media/Files/Business/Applications-and-Rebate-Forms/Retrofit/2016_Lighting_...

Customers fill in the form which they often access from a web site, save it, and return the form.  I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to export just the value fields into excel.  The "export PDF" tool recreates the entire PDF, instead of just providing field values.  I cannot use one of the built in distribute features (email or internal server).

I used to be able to do this in X Pro without any problems, but cannot figure it out in DC.  Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Under the "More" option in the Prepare Form Tool there is an option to "Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet".This will export all the selected files into one CSV file. The field names in alphabetical order will be the column headings and each form exported will be one row in the sheet.

Check Acrobat's Help and the tutorials for more information.

All the above assumes you created the form with Acrobat and not LiveCycle.
