Files printed to PDF end up as TXT files with Distiller list

Recently, most of the emails, Word docs, etc. that I print come out as a TXT file instead of a PDF file. Inside the TXT file is garbage, with Distiller listed near the top. I do NOT use Distiller, never have and don't care to now. I just need to print to PDF, but many times I can't.

‌1. You have always used Distiller, because the PDF printer always uses it.

2. Never heard of the PDF printer making a TXT but making a LOG file is the normal thing for a failure.

3. If you have a LOG file, these are hard to understand so please copy and paste one into a reply.
