Fillable forms done in DC not displaying properly when emailed.

I have created several fillable pdf forms for different tasks, i.e. estimates.  When we save these and email them to people they can see all of the pdf except any places where we typed information into fillable cells, they are all blank.  Any ideas on what we may be doing wrong?

Hi dannyc39742251 ,

Would like to know under which application they are opening these forms. If they are opening it in the Adobe Reader , so first save these forms with this step : File > Save as other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools.

Then send the forms to them, If issue still persist please check:

It seems to be an issue with the font. You can make a "blank" form visible by following these steps:

1. Click on Forms > Add or Edit Fields.
2. Click on Edit > Select All.
3. Right click on one of the form fields and click on Properties.
4. Click on the Appearances tab.
5. Change the font size.
6. Click Close.
7 Click on Close Form Editing

Regards,

Yatharth

Yatharth,

I have tried all of the suggestions you posted below as well as changing the font itself. None of it works. I am using Acrobat Pro DC and the tools all show up on the right side of the page instead of the old form editor. I clicked on the “ prepare form” button to change the font size and fonts on different cells. Any other suggestions?

HI,

If the fields are not appearing, please check with this step :  Edit > Preferences > Forms > Under 'Highlight Color' - select Show Border Hover Color For Fields.

Yatharth,

I have checked the settings you sent below and they are correct. I have attached two screen shots to show you what it is doing. The first one is how it looks on my computer screen and then I emailed it to my iPhone and the second one shows you what it looks like on my phone. Any other ideas?

Danny
