Very new to editing fillable forms...when it prefills the form is there a way to change radio buttons that prepopulate to check boxes?

Are you referring to the fields created by the Form Fields Detection Wizard? If so, you can either do it manually, or you can use a script, like this one I've developed and which can be purchased from here: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Convert Form Fields Type
