I'm new to Adobe and am trying to figure out forms -- specifically I want to take an existing form and make it a pdf.  Once it's uploaded, what do I do to clean up all the goobily gook so that it's easy to read and complete.  My impression that this should be very quick to do.  Thanks.

First you need to get the form into the PDF format. Then with Acrobat Standard or Acobat Professional you can add form fields. If you need calculations added that cen either be easy or difficult depending upon how comples your calculation is. There are free tutorials and more information in Acrobat's help.

There is a web based service for creating forms in Reader but this service produces forms with minimumal capabilities and if more complex forms are needed, one needs to use Acrobat.
