Free trial?!

So I signed up for a free trial to see how the PDF conervsion works in order to see if it was worth buying and I can't use anything, no way to "trial" this product, all I get is taken to more and more pages requesting payment information. Also there were login issues, failure to respond etc, hardly inspiring me to hand over my money.
Has anyone been able to convert a document into a useable PDF in the trial version?
