Hello, I've created a pdf in acrobat DC with an embedded video, however, when I attempt to open the file in any other pdf viewer besides DC, the video will not play. How can I remedy this?

How am I able to save a acrobat pro DC doc with embedded video and allow other pdf viewers to open it and play video?

Most of these viewers can't play video, and that's that.

Hey akthegr8 to answer your question a little more deeply, not all PDF viewers are created equal.

Most of the interactivity that is available by creating a PDF in InDesign or adding rich media via Acrobat is only supported in Adobe Reader. Other PDF viewer software don't adhere to the same standards and most don't bother supporting rich media and interactivity beyond hyperlinks and bookmarks.

The only way to know is to test each viewer to see which works, or recommend that the user only uses Acrobat.

Hope this helps.
