Help with acrobat and pdf to word file

I downloaded Acrobat because I was considering buying it to help me to transfer PDF files into a word file, but I am really disappointed. Does not work, when the document is exported into word, spaces between the word, symbols that do not belong to the text. Anyways is taking me longer to fix each page of a 172 pages documents than typing it all over.

Please let me know the exact dot version of Acrobat & OS installed on your computer?

Let me know the steps followed to Export the PDF files?

Is the PDF originally created in Acrobat application?

Hi,

I downloaded de 2015 version. I'm using the trail for now because I was not sure this would work for me. I have a MAC OX 10.11.3 ComputerEl Capitan, and usually work in french texts and document. I'm not sure if I want to buy it.

I went to tools and choose export file to word.
