hi,

This may show I'm not a very advanced user, but there it is. How can I create an action wizard that both copies and highlights text? I want to make a tool that does both, but when I try in Action Wizard I do not see those editing options.

Help appreciated.

Cheers,

Michael

Copies to where, exactly?

Sorry - my clipboard. I will then put it in RESEARCH NOTES in EndNote.

That's disappointing...

And thanks.

What might be possible, though, is to copy that text into memory (ie, a variable) and then output it at the end of the process to something like a text file that you could import into EndNote, or just open manually and copy the text from it.

It would require the development of a custom-made script and Action, though.

If I want all my comments, it's not a problem. I just do CREATE COMMENT SUMMARY, comments only, highlight all that and put it in EndNote. This was for when I only wanted one or two comments. Now I highlight the bit I want, right click for copy, and then right click again for highlight. Not the end of the world.

Thanks again.
