Those features you describe sound like a part of Acrobat, not something that is added using plugins, though... In the Print dialog you can select to create a booklet or to do n-Up printing.

Unfortunately those print features don't yield a new PDF file and they are very limited in functionality and quality. They are designed primarily for Q&D (quick and dirty) n-up printing and booklet printing, but with many limitations.
