How can I hide blank pages in a PDF?

Hello,

I have a PDF document with a few pages. The first page must be printed on the first sheet. The backside of the first sheed must be blank.

The following pages must be printed as Duplex, so frontside and backside of the sheet.

So the first page is simplex and the rest is Duplex. To do this, I added a blank page after the first page. But I want to do this without the blank page.

Is there a possibility to activate the Duplex option and tell the Reader to hide the blank page without a Special Viewer? Can I program this?

Or is there a possibility to create the PDFs without the blank page but with the configuration that the first page is printed as simplex and the rest as Duplex?

ich versende an Kunden ein PDF-Dokument, das ein Anschreiben auf der ersten Seite enthält. Die Rückseite des Anschreibens muss leer sein. Die darauf folgenden Dokumente müssen alle beidseitig gedruckt werden. Um das zu erreichen, werden die Dokumente mit Duplex-Druck erstellt und an die Kunden versendet. Deswegen ist eine Leerseite in den PDF-Dokumenten auf Seite 2, also nach dem Anschreiben drin, damit der Duplexdruck richtig funktioniert und die Rückseite des Anschreibens leer bleibt. Diese Leerseite möchte ich jedoch weghaben und trotzdem die Funktionalität, die ich beschrieben habe, beibehalten. Ist so etwas möglich ohne, dass der Kunde einen speziellen Viewer dafür hat? Ich muss es von Haus aus korrekt bereitstellen.

There is no "front" and "back" to PDF pages. As a duplex print is going to grab the appropriate PDF pages that are adjacent you have to have that blank page behind the "1 pager".

Or do two prints. 1st is single for page one. 2nd print is for the duplex page range.
