I need to process a large volume of PDF from Word files.
Job option needed is High quality press.
I tested creating PDFs in 2 ways:
open Word file and File/Print/PDF and select High quality press by default + save as by default printer
Then I tested by selecting several files from a directory and using the right click (convert into PDF)
Results : PDF do not have the same properties and the right click PDFs have a poorer quality not suitable for paper printing.
Do you know how to set the high quality press option for the right click (Adobe does not use the same parameters depending on the operation) ?
Go into Acrobat's preferences. Choose the Convert to PDF pane and then click on Microsoft Office Word. Click on Edit Settings and from there you get a dialog box that lets you set the Adobe PDF Settings for such batch operations. Select the High Quality Print option and then press OK twice and you should be good to go.
