How can I show the remaining characters of a textarea in Adobe Acrobat fillable pdf?

I want to make a text area in an upcoming fillable pdf that has a limit of 250 characters. I would like to have below it a reference that shows the remaining characters left for that text area.  Please see the picture example below.

You can use a custom Keystroke script to get the current length of the field's value and reduce that number from its character limit.

I've developed something similar to that in this (paid-for) tool I've developed: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- "Live" Characters and Words Counter
