How can we create a search help for dropdown field in PDF?

Hi,

We have a dropdown field in PDF, and when we open PDF in IPAD/IPHONE, we can not search value in this field manually.

I searched in forum and couldn't find any solution about this issue.

We can create a search help for this field with javascript if possible. Maybe there can be another solution.

Can anybody help us?

What do you mean by "search help", exactly? At any rate, it's not likely to be possible. Most scripts will not work on mobile devices.

Actually, i want to search data in dropdown list by some criteria.

I have 9.000 data in this field, and when i open it in IPAD, it is very difficult to find correct one.

In windows, when i push a letter, i can directly go to the related line.

but, in IPAD it is not working. And i am trying to find a way to search it.

If the drop-down menu doesn't do that then I don't think it's possible.
