how do i get my pdfs to print again?

when i try to print a pdf now, adobe acrobat 9.5.5 only saves it.  how do i fix this? i have already turned the computer of and on, the printer the same, tried Print as an Image, Saving to the hard drive... the obvious stuff.  there is some issue with the software, something changed since it used to print fine. windows environment

Hi larry0826​,

The save as window you are getting is for saving the file to the location at your system which you are printing .

So with that option you may save that printed file using PDF printer from Print menu.

If you want to get them print out, then check with the printer name under Print menu.

I know what the save function is as I use it on a regular basis to save pdf’s.  The problem is that I can’t get the pdf to print.  The print window looks like it always does, with the printer selected, but when I click print this save feature comes up instead.

Disable the entry "Print to File" in the print dialog.
