How do I make the digital signature larger

I scanned in my signature as a pdf file, but when I go to digitally sign documents the signature appears very small. I wrote my signature twice as large and resaved the pdf file, and the digital signature still came out the same size when I tried to sign a document. How do I enlarge it?
