I have installed Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on my new computer (wanting to move the product from my old computer to my new one). After installation, when I open Acrobat Pro XI I get this message, "Serial Number is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found." I am sure I am using the correct serial number but why is the new install not recognizing Pro XI?
your xi is an upgrade from a prevous version.
after entering your xi serial number the installer checks your computer for a previous version. failing to find one it should prompt you to select your previous version (9 or X, eg) from a dropdown. after selecting the previous version you will be prompted to enter the previous version's serial number.
enter the correct number at the correct time and installation will proceed.
