I often need to print webpages to pdf and save them in my documents folder. Until a few weeks ago, this was no problem. About three weeks ago, I started receiving the following error message every time I print a webpage from Internet Explorer when the selected printer is Adobe PDF and when I try to save in my documents folder: When printing to PDF a webpage in Internet Explorer, I cannot save to my documents folder. I receive an error stating, "You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission." Now, I must save the new pdf to my desktop and then transfer it to the documents folder, which is a waste of time and clutters my desktop. How do I correct this?
This problem does not occur when I print to pdf from other browsers, but I must use some websites which work best with Explorer. Even when in Explorer, I can print to Microsoft XPS Document Writer and save the document in my documents folder without this error message.
OS is Windows 7
Explorer 11
Adobe Acrobat Pro X

Hello Jeremy ,
Please follow these steps and let us know if that fixes the issue:
1- Right-click on the documents folder
2. Click on Properties.
3. Click on the Security tab.
4. In the first window click on Administrators (your computer name-PC Administrators).
5. Just below the window click on Edit.
6. Click on Administrators (your computer name-PC Administrators) again.
7. If Apply is grayed-out, check a box in the Deny column. It will then bring up Apply.
8. Check a box in the Allow column. It should check all of the boxes except the last one and uncheck all of the boxes in the Deny column.
9. Click Apply. It should run a scan of the files in the drive. When the scan is finished, click Ok. The first box should still be open.
10. In the first window, click on Users, apart from Administrators (your computer name-PC\Users) and repeat steps 5-9, (your computer name-PC\Users)
11- You may not have to click in the Deny column after the first scan is completed for step 10 as indicated in step 7.
Let us know about the results.
Thanks!
Shivam

Thank you, Shivam. I can take the first two steps you list, but not the third. When I click properties, a box opens which does NOT have a security tab. The only tab is Library.

Thank you. This time, I got through steps 1 through 8, in your first message. When I clicked Apply, I receive an Error Applying Security box, which states "An error occurred while applying security information to: c:\Users...Application Data Access is denied."
What do I do now?
Thank you for your help.
