How to scan from printer to pdf and get them readable, they are all blurry at the moment, worked fine before the upgraded adobe

What OS do you work on?

Is your Acrobat updated to the latest patch?

If not ,please try doing that and see if that helps.

If you are using Windows,try to repair it once and see if that helps.

Sorry..not sure what you mean by OS..it is updated to the latest which now I wish I had left it in the old version as this worked perfectly. I use an Apple Mac but this should make no difference. I have checked the scanners settings and these seem to be right, as I said I was having no problems till the upgrade and everything I try in adobe has to be paid for whereas in the old version it was free, maybe that is the catch, I just don't have the funds to pay for it. Thank you for your help tho.
