how do you centre align text in a text field? Trying to create an editable field for a client but need text centred.
For that you need to enable rich text formatting and multiline on the Options tab. If you then display the Properties bar (Ctrl + E), you'll be able to set the vertical alignment when the field has the focus. You'll have to click the More button on the Properties bar and then select the Paragraph tab and you'll see where you can set the vertical alignment.

Look on the Options tab of the Field Properties dialog. There's an Alignment dropdown there.

My apologies, I wanted to say vertically align the text in a text field.
I am creating an editable poster that users will be putting a personal message inside. I am not sure how much text will be inserted which is why i need the paragraph to always remain centred.'
Should have explained more in detail.

By the way, you cannot set this up in advance if the field will be blank initially, so it might be a good idea to include some sample text in the field and vertically align the paragraph. Also, provide instructions for setting the alignment so the users will know how to do it if they accidentally clear the field or otherwise change the alignment.
