How do you put data into a fillable PDF and then save it as a non-fillable PDF?

I created a PDF using Acrobat DC. I then filled out the fillable form. I now need to save the PDF as a non-fillable PDF in order to email it with the data and without the recipient having the ability to change the data. This seems like a simple idea, but I'm coming up short on trying to figure it out in Acrobat or with Google searches. Thanks.

It seems to me I should be able to go to File > Save As and save as an unfillable, uneditable PDF.

No, it's not that simple. You need to flatten the file, which can be done using a Preflight profile or a script.

You can use this tool to do it easily: UVSAR : Selective Flattener tool for Adobe Acrobat 8, 9 and X
