But it was working fine on my Laptop with Windows XP, now I have purchased new computer with windows 10 and am unable to install it from my CD.

Why should I buy/use the special version while I had purchased software on CD and software was working fine on XP now it asks activation key on windows 10. Thanks

You are very optimistic hoping that such old software will work in a new system. But if you want any chance you MUST use the special version because the CD now works for nobody. Adobe kindly provided a replacement.
