A few months ago, I set up shared reviews on a SharePoint server, and they've been working fine. But now I'm getting an error when I try to send a PDF out for Shared Commenting: "The file destination is not valid. Enter a valid location." The only option on the dialog is, "OK." Also, all my files that I've sent out for review over the past few months now have this error: "Could not get new comments. Adobe Acrobat DC cannot access the network. Please verify your computer's network connection and try again." My connection is good.
So my question:
How do I change the network setting if something has gone wrong with it? I've searched the Help, and looked all over the app, but I cannot find a way to specify network location for reviews. When I try to start a new review, all it gives me is the error saying the destination is not valid -- it doesn't let me view or change anything. I tried repairing the app under the Help menu, but that didn't help. I'm at wits end. Please help.
It appears that there is no way to change the server location once it's set. To resolve the issue, I deleted all of my existing server locations. After doing this, I was once again able to access the configuration screen.
An unfortunate side effect was that I had to restart all of the reviews that were in progress, which was very disruptive to the review process.
If anyone knows of a way to change the server location and update reviews in progress, I'd love to hear it!

After consulting with my IT team, it appears that the SharePoint server name has changed, and that's resulting in the "invalid location" error for all my shared reviews.
Does anyone know how to change the server location for shared reviews after it's been set?

This is still an issue, apparently. I'm surprised that this question has been asked multiple times and gotten not a single satisfactory solution. 😞

Hello,
Sorry for the delay in response.
Once the shared review is initiated you don't have an option to change the location for it. Neither you can move the file to other location if you want, it will break the process.
The solution to this issue is as @katew already mentioned. stop the existing one and create a new one.
