I have created a PDF form with fill in and check boxes all over the page as a checklist/notes for a piece of equipment. When I open the PDF the fill in and check boxes work fine. The same goes for when I send it to a co worker via email. When I upload the file to Google Drive, however, the format seems to bug out and all the fill ins and check boxes disappear and the document is not editable at all. Why is this?

A little more on the subject: The reason why the file needs to be in Google Drive is so that I can make it accessible via my website, while only giving the access to users on our network. It seems to work fine if I download the file, but what if someone wants to click on the link and fill it in directly and print from the webpage. Is that possible? I don't understand why Drive would cancel out the fillable sections.

Google Drive uses an internal plugin to display PDF files. Any bugs with that plugin should be reported to Google.
It has nothing to do with Adobe.

I don't know if its a bug as much as it could be an error or setting issue on my part. I'd like to get some more input if anyone else has the same issue.

Ask your users to download the file and then try to fill it with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC(free application)

As noted in my previous post, users have the ability to fill in the form if they download the file. My question is why can they not edit from the file when it is displayed in a webpage. The file is set to allow anyone with the link to edit.
