How to display PDFs on open in Acobat Pro DC just like in older acrobat professional?

‌hello, when I open PDF files in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (pc desktop version) the documents look as if they're opened in a word editing app. I'd like to view PDF documents just like in older versions - such as Acrobat Professional. In the older versions the document would look like it would look being printed. Pls help.

I'm using Windows 10 and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

Go to Edit - Preferences - Page Display and tick "Smooth line art" and "Smooth images".

‌Sorry I have no idea what you mean by word processing app. The menus and tools have all been redesigned but for me the PDF itself looks the same. Please explain...

Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing (using the camera icon)? And explain in detail what you mean, as it's not very clear...

Here's how rough letters look like in Adobe Acrobat pro: (this is the same for any document, whether it be scanned or converted from MS office applications)
