how to impose an action on all form cells at the same time?

lets say i want to chage the font type in all cells without going through each one.

You can select them all in the Fields list (when you're in the Form Edit mode), or directly on the page, and then right-click one of them, select Properties and then change this property for all selected fields at once.

Alternatively, it can be done using a script, like this one I've developed: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Mass Edit Fields Properties
