how to make linked text change appearance on focus

Acrobat Professional XI, would like to be able to make linked text change appearance on mouseover or on keyboard focus. Like change font color, font size, become bold, or make an underline appear ... for instance, an item in a TOC or a URL in the text of a document.  How do you do this?  Also, can you make the link box itself change color on mouseover or keyboard focus (before actually clicking on it)? Thanks.

I think you have a better chance at an answer from the scripting forum.

Those types of events are not really what Acrobat is for. While there are interactive features for links and media, I believe what you are describing would be a somewhat tedious series of layered objects set to show/not show depending on focus.
