How to read the barcode easier in Adobe Reader/Acrobat?

I am using a 2D Barcode control in Adobe Acrobat and I am embedding the data to the same . I am using PDF417 Symbology. Data is set to the barcode fine but while scanning not able to retrieve well using Barcode Scanner/QR & Scanner etc. With PDF417.mobi Barcode Scanner it is easier to retrieve and it is fine. I want the same to work easily for all softwares.
