How to save adobe pdf at medium res in acrobat? Small is too small, big is too big

Im a lifelong graphic designer but I cant seem to figure out how to save a pdf at medium resolution in Acrobat. I find that the reduced size pdf is very small and makes my work look grainy. But the full size is too big to send via email. Is there a way to goldilocks it?

I figured it out... I save all my images for web res at high/80 then combine into a deck in acrobat in high-res
