How to stop characters from being removed when combining PDF files?

Does anyone know how to stop Adobe from removing characters when PDF files are combined? If not, does anyone know how to make the characters appear again?

Could you please let us know if this is happening with a single file or with other files as well?

Try combining other pdf files and see if you are still getting the same results.
