How to turn a static pdf into fillable with calculations?

I need to start with a static pdf and turn it into a dynamic fillable pdf complete with formulas and calculations.

It is a government form so the end result needs to have the exact same formatting as the original. i fill out large numbers of these forms for my clients so need to streamline this process as much as possible. Any advice or direction appreciated. Thanks

You can add form fields to a PDF with Acrobat and program the calculations with JavaScript. What version of Acrobat are you using?
