Does the Adobe SDK support conversion of htm / html files to pdf silently? How is the support / performance for HTML5 based files?

I'm trying to find if Adobe- the pdf people do provide any SDK to convert from htm to pdf?

Additional details regarding the development & deployment:

• The SDK will be used to develop a feature that will convert htm to pdf. The SDK could be used by multiple people in the development team in an organization. The development team will have Adobe reader.
• The developed product along with the redistributables from the SDK will be deployed at multiple sites / clients
• The end user will have Adobe reader as a minimal requirement in the system.

Would like to know if there is more dependency on the Adobe writer during development and for the end user.

Yes, in order to convert HTML to PDF using the Acrobat SDK – each user of your software will need the full Adobe Acrobat product installed on their computer.
