Hi All,

I just creates a Table of Content with PAGES on my MacBook, which I want to use now together with a couple of PDFs and add the respective links to the Table of Content. My question is: After I created all the Links in the PDF (PAGES file has been exported as PDF), should the situation arise that I want to add a couple of items to my Table of Content, can I export back to e.g. PAGES or NUMBERS for editing without losing all the Links created?

Acrobat does not support export to the PAGES file format.

Acrobat Pro can export to TXT, RTF, DOC or DOCX. Export to one of these. Cleanup using the native application. Migrate this into PAGES; cleanup. Output the fresh PDF.

Keep in mind that optimal export of PDF page content is predicated on the PDF being a "well-formed" Tagged PDF (ISO 14289, PDF/UA compliant).

Otherwise it is very much a toss of dice.
