I am not sure if i subscriber & downloaded the right Acrobat?

I think it is better if I start all over from the beginning,  I don't know how & would rather hame someone on the phone walking me through it.

Hi ,

If you are subscribed to Acrobat Pro DC program then Please try running the cleaner tool "Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs" on your machine to remove all traces of Acrobat.

Then, restart your machine and install the latest version of Reader from here:

Download Adobe Acrobat DC (Continuous) | Enterprise or VIP
