I am using a windows pc. When i try to create a pdf from a word document an error message appears saying upload failure. Can anyone help?

I seem to have solved the problem. I have to close the word App before i attempt to convert it to a pdf.

Is this the case, or should i be able to convert files regardless of the word app being open?

Also i have another quire. I am converting these files to pdf to send quotations to clients.

Will they be able to edit these documents. Obviously i would not want my clients to be able to edit the document i sent them.

Which is the best way to ensure this can not be done.
