I am using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro (version 11.0.17) on a Windows 7.0 based computer. After signing a document, it appears on top the message: “Certified by…., certificate issued by……”. However, when sending the same file to others, when they open it using Acrobat Reader or another version of Acrobat Pro, the message says that the author cannot be verified. Why?

Send also the public key. The others can import the key and verify the certificate.
